Sell your Heartland RV in Houston for cash
We buy Heartland trailers and campers in Greater Houston: North Trail, Prowler, Bighorn, Cyclone and more. Any year or condition, free pickup, payoff handled.

If you want to sell your Heartland RV in Houston, we buy the towables Heartland owners have, including North Trail and Prowler travel trailers, Bighorn fifth wheels and Cyclone toy haulers. Heartland’s current lineup consists of travel trailers, fifth wheels and toy haulers, not motorhomes. Whether yours is a newer camper or an older unit that has been sitting in storage, you can ask us for a cash offer.
Cash For RV considers current and discontinued Heartland models throughout Greater Houston, including paid-off units, RVs with loans and campers with damage. We are an independent Houston buyer, not a Heartland dealer, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Heartland or its parent company. Some units may not be a fit, and we will tell you honestly.
The short version
- We consider Heartland travel trailers, fifth wheels and toy haulers in any condition.
- Your offer reflects the model, layout, condition and disclosed repair needs.
- We can handle lender payoff, with you covering any shortfall at closing.
- There are no fees or commissions, and Greater Houston pickup costs you nothing.

Selling your Heartland RV in Houston, from travel trailers to toy haulers
You do not need a current model to contact us. Alongside North Trail and Prowler campers, we consider Sundance travel trailers and fifth wheels, Milestone fifth wheels, and older Landmark, Mallard and Torque units. A discontinued name does not automatically rule out an offer.
The hitch configuration matters when identifying your camper and planning removal. Our pages on selling a travel trailer in Houston and selling a fifth wheel in Houston explain those towable types. For toy haulers, tell us whether yours uses a bumper-pull connection or a fifth-wheel hitch.
We consider clean, worn, damaged, flood-damaged and end-of-life Heartlands, including units that cannot currently be towed. You do not have to make repairs before asking. Describe missing parts, disabled equipment and access problems so we can assess the RV accurately.
What shapes a cash offer for your Heartland
The model line and its position within the lineup, model year, floorplan and slide-out arrangement help establish what we are evaluating. A large fifth wheel and a smaller travel trailer require different comparisons. We also review roof and sidewall condition, water intrusion, tires, axles, brakes and other running gear.
Houston heat, sun and humidity make condition details important. Tell us about cracked sealant, faded exterior surfaces, musty odors, soft flooring or stains around windows and slide-outs. Heavy rain or past flooding should be disclosed, including damage associated with Harvey or Beryl if it affected your RV.
Heartland towables do not have a driving engine or motorhome chassis to assess. Instead, towing readiness and structural condition matter, along with generator hours if your unit has one. Our guide to what affects an RV cash offer explains why two similar-looking campers can receive different offers.
Details and photos to gather before contacting us
Start with the model year, model line and floorplan shown in your title, registration or other paperwork. Share the VIN and the RV’s location. If the documents do not identify the floorplan clearly, send photos of the manufacturer label and exterior model markings rather than guessing.
Clear photos help us review your Heartland before arranging an in-person look. Include the living area and any toy-hauler garage, not just the exterior. You can submit what you have now and tell us which details are uncertain.
- Photograph all exterior sides, hitch, tires and visible roof areas without climbing somewhere unsafe.
- Show flooring, ceilings, slide-outs and any stains or soft spots.
- List equipment that does not work and repairs you know are needed.
- Tell us whether the slides retract and the RV is accessible for pickup.
- Have your title status and current lender information available.
Older Heartlands and damage do not end the conversation
Older and discontinued lines deserve an individual review, not an automatic rejection based on the badge. Heartland’s official brochure archive can help identify past floorplans and features when your paperwork is incomplete. Our information on selling an old RV or camper covers practical considerations for a unit that has aged or sat unused.
Heartland remains in production. THOR Industries acquired Heartland in September 2010 and announced its integration under Jayco, Inc. in March 2025. Those corporate changes do not replace the details we need about your particular trailer, especially its ownership documents and actual condition.
If your Heartland has leaks, collision damage or flood exposure, explain what happened and what was repaired. We consider these situations, but not every unit will be a fit. You can read more about selling a damaged RV as-is before deciding whether to repair it or request an offer.
Loans, missing titles and ownership questions
You can request cash for a Heartland RV even if you still owe money. We can pay the lender directly, and you receive any equity. If the offer is below your payoff, you must cover the difference at closing. We do not make loans; our page on selling an RV with a loan explains the process.
Tell us early if the title is missing, lists another owner or is held electronically by a lender. A certified copy of a lost Texas title is requested from TxDMV using Form VTR-34. Texas trailers with a gross weight over 4,000 pounds must be titled; those at or below that weight only require registration, with titling optional.
At signing, we handle the title paperwork and any lender payoff. You should remove your license plates and file the free Vehicle Transfer Notification with TxDMV within 30 days to protect yourself from post-sale tickets, tolls and liability. Confirm document requirements with TxDMV or your county tax office.
Pickup at your Heartland’s Greater Houston location
We can do the quick in-person look at your home, storage lot, RV park or repair shop. Our Greater Houston service area includes Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Brazoria, Galveston, Waller and Chambers counties. Tell us about gate access, storage rules, tight turns or obstacles around the camper.
After you share details by online form, phone or text, we review them and give a cash offer, often the same day. If the in-person look matches your description, the offer stands. If we find a significant undisclosed issue, we explain the change, and you can walk away.
At signing, we pay by cashier’s check, bank transfer or cash and handle the paperwork. Then we tow or drive the RV away at no cost to you. For a Heartland towable, explain any wheel, hitch or axle problems beforehand so we can assess removal.
A direct buyer versus a trade-in or private listing
A dealer trade-in ties your Heartland’s value to a transaction involving another RV. We only buy RVs, so there is no replacement purchase involved. A private listing lets you seek your own price, but you manage inquiries, showings, negotiations and payment arrangements.
Selling directly to us gives you an offer to consider without fees, commissions or obligation. You can request a cash offer for your Heartland, compare it with your other options and decide whether the amount and pickup arrangement work for you.
Selling a Heartland: common questions
I have an older North Trail fifth wheel. Can you still review it?
Yes. Although North Trail is currently a travel-trailer line, older North Trail fifth wheels are among the Heartlands we consider. Send the model year, VIN, floorplan information and photos so we can identify yours correctly. Its discontinued status alone does not decide the outcome; condition, paperwork and the individual unit also matter.
Do I need a truck to sell my Bighorn to you?
No. You do not need to supply a tow vehicle or bring your Bighorn to us. We arrange the in-person look where it sits in Greater Houston and handle removal at no cost if you accept and complete the sale. Tell us whether the landing gear works and whether there is clear access to the hitch.
Can you review my Cyclone if the garage ramp is damaged?
Yes, you can submit it for review. Send photos of the ramp, hinges, surrounding frame and any damage inside the garage, along with the rest of the RV. Explain whether the ramp closes and whether water has entered. We consider damaged toy haulers, but the extent of the damage may affect the offer or whether the unit is a fit.
What if my Prowler has been sitting with expired registration?
Tell us how long it has been sitting and share the ownership paperwork you have. Expired registration does not tell us everything about the RV’s condition or title status. We also need information about tires, brakes, leaks and access. Confirm any registration or document requirements for your particular trailer with TxDMV or your county tax office.
Can I sell a Heartland I inherited from a family member?
Possibly, once your authority to transfer ownership is established. Share the model details and explain whose name is on the title. If the owner died without a will and no probate was opened, heirs may be able to use Form VTR-262, subject to TxDMV conditions. With a will, probate is generally required. Confirm the appropriate process with TxDMV or an attorney.
