Selling your DRV Luxury Suites in Houston starts with identifying which towable you own. DRV’s current lineup includes Mobile Suites conventional fifth wheels and Full House fifth-wheel toy haulers with a separate garage. We consider both, along with older DRV lines, whether your RV is ready to tow, sitting with damage or no longer usable.

Cash For RV buys directly from owners throughout Greater Houston, including owners with an outstanding loan. We are an independent Houston buyer, not a DRV Luxury Suites dealer, and are not affiliated with or endorsed by DRV Luxury Suites or its parent company. Tell us what you have, and we’ll review it honestly. Some units may not be a fit.

The short version

  • We consider current and discontinued DRV fifth wheels and toy haulers in any condition.
  • Your offer reflects the specific model, condition, paperwork and pickup requirements.
  • We can pay your lender directly, with any remaining equity paid to you.
  • There are no fees or commissions, and accepted purchases include pickup at no cost.

Selling current and older DRV Luxury Suites in Houston

You do not need a current model to request an offer. Alongside Mobile Suites and Full House, we consider discontinued fifth wheels such as Elite Suites, Select Suites and Tradition. Age or a discontinued model name does not automatically rule out a purchase.

For a conventional DRV, our approach to buying fifth wheels in Houston accounts for the unit’s condition and towing needs. With a Full House, we also look at the separate garage, ramp door and any modifications. Our toy hauler buying page explains more about selling that type of RV.

An older unit does not need to be cleaned up or repaired before you contact us. Send an accurate description first, including anything that prevents towing or using the RV.

What shapes a cash offer for your DRV

The model line and tier, year, floorplan and slide-out layout help establish what we are evaluating. From there, actual condition matters. Two DRV fifth wheels with similar paperwork can need very different amounts of work.

Houston heat, sun and humidity make roof, seal and interior photos especially useful. Tell us about water stains, soft flooring, sidewall damage, musty odors or leaks during heavy rain. Flood exposure matters too, even if the interior has since dried out. Our guide to what affects an RV cash offer explains the broader factors.

Because these are towables, engine mileage and chassis condition are not valuation factors as they would be for a motorhome. Tires, axles, brakes, suspension and hitch components matter instead. If your DRV has a generator, share whether it operates and its indicated hours.

  • Roof and sidewall condition, including repairs and water intrusion.
  • Slide-out operation, seals and visible damage around openings.
  • Tire condition, running gear and whether the RV can roll safely.
  • Interior condition, installed equipment and disclosed modifications.

Details and photos to gather before contacting us

Start with the model year, model line, floorplan and VIN. Check the title, registration or other paperwork for identifying details, and use the RV’s labels or original documents to fill any gaps. If records disagree, send photos rather than guessing.

You can share everything through our online form, by phone or by text. Clear photos help us understand the RV before an in-person look, but you do not need professional photography. Include the trouble spots, not just the best angles.

  • Exterior views of every side, plus the hitch and tires.
  • Interior photos showing living areas, floors and slide-outs.
  • Roof photos if available without climbing or taking a risk.
  • Close-ups of leaks, damage, repairs and identifying labels.
  • Current location, access restrictions and loan or title status.

Selling a DRV with a loan or title issue

If you still owe money on your DRV, we can pay the lender directly and pay you any equity. When the payoff exceeds our offer, you must cover the difference at closing. We do not make loans. Read more about selling an RV with an outstanding loan, and confirm payoff requirements with your lender.

Texas lienholders must release a lien within 10 days of receiving payoff, and some titles are held electronically through the ELT program. Tell us early if your title is lender-held, missing or in someone else’s name. A certified copy of a lost Texas title is requested from TxDMV using Form VTR-34.

At signing, the seller signs the title and Form 130-U showing the sales price. Remove your license plates and file the free online Vehicle Transfer Notification within 30 days to protect against post-sale tickets, tolls and liability. We handle the transaction’s title paperwork; confirm unusual ownership issues with TxDMV, your county tax office or an attorney.

From your DRV photos to payment

After reviewing your details and photos, we give a cash offer, often the same day. There is no obligation to accept it. If you want to proceed, we arrange a quick in-person look wherever the RV is located within Greater Houston.

If that look matches your description, the offer stands. If we find something significant that was not disclosed, we explain what we found and why the number changes. You can walk away rather than accept a revised offer.

At signing, we pay by cashier’s check, bank transfer or cash, handle the title paperwork and any lender payoff, then tow or drive the RV away as appropriate. For your DRV towable, that means arranging towing at no cost to you. Request a cash offer for your DRV when you are ready.

Pickup from Houston homes, storage lots and RV parks

Your DRV can be at home, in storage, at an RV park or at a repair shop. Our buying area is Greater Houston only: Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Brazoria, Galveston, Waller and Chambers counties. Check our Greater Houston service area for the communities we cover.

Before pickup, tell us about gates, narrow turns, soft ground, flat tires, locked wheels or a hitch that cannot be accessed. We also need to know whether slides or landing gear are stuck. These details help us plan removal without asking you to tow the RV somewhere first.

Damaged, flood-damaged and end-of-life units are considered. Describe the circumstances clearly, and review our information on selling a damaged RV as-is if repairs are the reason you want to sell.

A direct purchase versus a trade-in or private listing

A dealer trade-in connects disposing of your DRV with buying another RV. A direct purchase from us keeps those decisions separate. We only buy RVs, and do not take trade-ins toward another unit.

A private listing lets you set an asking price and speak directly with potential buyers. It also leaves you responsible for photos, inquiries, showings, payment arrangements and coordinating the transfer. For a large DRV fifth wheel, you may also need to address how a buyer will tow it away.

Our cash offer gives you a specific alternative without fees or commissions. Compare the amount you would receive and the work each route requires. You are free to decline if our offer does not meet your needs.

Selling a DRV Luxury Suites: common questions

Can I sell a Mobile Suites Aire or Mobile Suites Estates to you?

Yes, we consider both Mobile Suites Aire and Mobile Suites Estates, even though those lines are discontinued. Share the exact model name, year, floorplan and condition rather than identifying it only as a Mobile Suites. Photos of identifying labels and paperwork help us distinguish the unit and review it accurately. Acceptance depends on the individual RV.

What if my older DRV paperwork says DoubleTree RV?

Send photos of the paperwork and the RV’s identifying labels, along with its VIN. DoubleTree RV changed its name to DRV in 2008, so an older name is useful context rather than a reason to stop your inquiry. We still need to review the ownership documents and condition. Confirm any conflicting title information with TxDMV or your county tax office.

Does my Full House garage need to be empty for an offer?

You can request an offer before emptying the garage, but provide photos that show its floor, walls and ramp door as clearly as possible. Tell us about stored belongings or equipment that limits inspection. Before pickup, discuss what you will remove and what, if anything, is included with the RV so the purchase terms are clear.

Should I repair a leaking DRV roof before asking for cash?

You do not need to repair a roof leak before asking us to evaluate your DRV. Send photos of the roof if safely available, interior stains and any affected flooring or walls. Explain whether the leak is active and what repairs were attempted. We consider damaged units, but condition affects the offer and some RVs may not be a fit.

Can you buy my DRV if I no longer have a tow vehicle?

Yes, owning a tow vehicle is not a requirement for selling your DRV to us. We arrange towing at no cost for an accepted purchase within Greater Houston. Tell us where the fifth wheel is parked and whether the hitch, tires, brakes or landing gear have issues. Access and condition details help us plan pickup.
